Couples Counselling
-
Communication
How we communicate is really at the heart of it all. When we don’t feel heard, when we feel shut out, when we feel like we just can’t connect, things can start to fall apart. Couples counselling can help you with tools and strategies to strengthen your communication and rebuild your connection.
-
Families
Whether it’s issues of parenting, including step and co-parenting, building blended families, or supporting rainbow and LGBTIQ+ families, couples counselling can help you work through the challenges you’re facing and become the team you’ve dreamed of being.
-
Intimacy and sexual connection
How we connect with our partner is so important. Feeling like we can be free to enjoy each other, to explore together, to be close and bridge the gaps between us can make all the difference. When life drives you apart and you feel disconnected and alone, couples counselling can help you find your way back to each other, and rekindle the spark.
-
Trust or infidelity
When trust is broken the pain is real. Couples counselling can help you address the hard questions, face the difficult feelings, and work towards healing from betrayal, moving away from fear, rebuilding connection and creating a new pathway forwards.
-
Issues of addiction
When substance use is effecting the relationship, couples counselling can help partners put in place strategies to support recovery, talk through the painful feelings and create a shared vision for the future.
-
Feelings of anxiety and depression
How we cope with the changes in our partner, how we manage when one, or both, are experiencing difficult feelings, can be a challenge. Couples counselling can help partners to support each other, and build strategies and skills as they manage these challenging times.
